19-year-old arrested for allegedly shooting two people outside a Macon motel

A suspect has been arrested for a shooting that happened outside of WoodSpring Suites in Macon on Sunday afternoon.

Tellis Savalas Fudge Jr., 19, has been charged with two counts of criminal attempt to commit murder, according to a press release from the Bibb County sheriff’s office. Fudge is accused of shooting two people in the parking lot of the motel at 4949 Harrison Rd.

According to the press release, an argument occurred between Fudge and Ty Shown Moses, 32, and Kelvanti Lawrence, 26, around 5 p.m. Sunday.

Fudge allegedly shot Moses and Lawrence who were transported to The Medical Center, Navicent Health and are in stable condition, according to the release.

Fudge fled the scene and was found by Bibb County Sheriff deputies near an assisted living facility at 4901 Harrison Rd. He was taken into custody without incident and is being held without bond, according to the release.
