Local woman dies two weeks after shooting in Warner Robins

A local woman shot in the chest on April 22 died after more than two weeks at The Medical Center, Navicent Health.

Jacquelin Strang, 67, died May 9 from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

Strang’s death marks the first homicide in Warner Robins for 2020, according to the release.

Strang was shot in the chest at a house at 203 Marvin Boulevard in Warner Robins just after 6:30 a.m. April 22. The suspect was reportedly at the scene when officers arrived.

Todd Miller, 49, was arrested at the time of the crime and charged with family violence aggravated assault.

Miller, the victim’s boyfriend who lived in the same house, has now been charged with felony murder and is being held at Houston County Detention Center without bond, according to the release.
