Bibb sheriff’s office looking for man wanted in connection to apartment homicide

A 27-year-old man is wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred in Macon on Sunday morning, according to a release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office said it is is currently looking for Randy Singleton Jr., wanted in connection with the homicide Ashley Heberling, a 29-year-old woman fatally shot at a Masseyville Road apartment.

Heberling, an Ohio native, was found shot outside of her Retreat at Ragan apartment, 2800 Masseyville Rd., around 10 a.m. Sunday., the release stated.

The Macon-Bibb 911 center received a call that a woman had been found shot. She was taken to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries.
