Armed bandit wearing skinny jeans flees Captain D’s with cash, Macon cops say

A stickup Sunday night at a west Macon Captain D’s seafood restaurant netted a masked suspect who was wearing skinny jeans an “undisclosed amount of cash,” Bibb County sheriff’s officials said in a news release..

The holdup at the eatery on 5390 Thomaston Road happened just after 9 p.m.

Witnesses told sheriff’s investigators that Captain D’s employees were cleaning the restaurant when the masked man, who was said to be “brandishing a handgun,” walked in and demanded cash from the registers.

There were no patrons inside and no one was hurt.

Cops said the suspect, who had on a dark, hooded sweatshirt, skinny jeans and black shoes fled the scene in an unknown direction.
