‘Grinch Mob’ arrested in Jones County for stealing and destroying decorations, sheriff says

Three people were arrested in Jones County in the lead up to Christmas, accused of trying to steal a little holiday spirit from residents, according to a post from the Jones County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

A group that they are calling the “Grinch Mob” was arrested for allegedly stealing and destroying Christmas decorations around the county.

Corey Noble and Elizabeth Weil were arrested on Monday and on Tuesday night Trent Dyson became the third “Grinch” member arrested in connection with the string of Christmas related crimes.

The post on Monday indicated more suspects were involved, but it is unclear if Dyson is the final member to be arrested.

The Telegraph has reached out to the Jones County Sheriff’s Office for additional details but they were not available for comment.
