Police on Monday announced the arrest of an Alabama man in connection with the July 6 shooting death of a man at a North Davis Drive nightclub in Warner Robins.

Tamarco Head, 38, was shot and killed at Club Boss in the wee hours of July 6, authorities said.

In mid-November, Morgan Baker, 23, of Mobile, Alabama, was arrested there and extradited to Houston County last week.

Baker has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault. He was being held without bond, according to statement from Warner Robins police.

The statement didn’t mention what led the police to link Baker to the slaying or what might have prompted the 2 a.m. gunfire at the nightclub.

Officials said in July that city cops had been called to the club at 532. N. Davis Drive to help clear the parking lot, but before they got there “shots were fired in the front breezeway” at the club.

Head died at the scene.
