Another teen charged with murder in shooting of 16-year-old in east Macon

A fourth teen was charged with murder Friday in the shooting of a 16-year-old in east Macon last month.

Eric Bowden, 16, was arrested at his east Macon home by Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators and U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force members.

Bowden was arrested without incident and taken to a Regional Youth Detention Center in Bibb County, according to a sheriff’s news release.

Kendrick Davis was found mortally wounded lying in the road with multiple gunshot wounds near the corner of Warpath and Manson roads in east Macon at 11 p.m. on Oct. 30. He was pronounced dead at the Medical Center, Navicent Health, Oct. 31.

The others charged with murder include Damarkis Jamicheal Hammonds, 19, and cousins Troy Jackson, 16, and Jamon Jackson, 18.

The killing remains under investigation.
