Surveillance photos show gunmen who robbed Macon Dollar General

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help identifying two gunmen who robbed a Macon store.

Just after 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, two men with guns demanded money at the Dollar General at 3407 Napier Ave., according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The men took the undisclosed amout of cash and ran toward Hillcrest Avenue.

They are described as black males.

One gunman was wearing a black T-shirt over a dark gray hoodie with a colored design running down the left sleeve, gray pants and black and white shoes.

The second robber was wearing a black T-shirt over a white or light gray hoodie, black pants and black and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about the holdup is urged to call for a sheriff’s investigator at 478-751-7500 or phone anonymous tips to Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
