Man arrested in carjacking in east Bibb County
A Macon man has been charged with kidnapping and armed robbery in an Oct. 14 carjacking.
Ceezon D. Antwanette McKoy, 25, was jailed late Friday night in the Bibb County Detention Center on the charges, jail records show.
Joshua Crawford told sheriff’s deputies that he was leaving a friend’s house in the 2400 block of Willis Court about 2 a.m. when a man he didn’t know came up to Crawford’s 2007 gray Hyundai Elantra, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release.
The man showed a handgun, told Crawford he needed his car and forced Crawford into the car, the release said. The man drove off with Crawford and later let Crawford out at the intersection of Millerfield and Jeffersonville roads.
The suspect took Crawford’s cellphone and then fled the area in Crawford’s car, the release said.
Additionally, McKoy has outstanding Superior Court probation warrants.
