A gunman took two fistfuls of cash in an armed robbery Thursday evening in Warner Robins.
Just after 7:10 p.m., the man in a black hoodie pulled a gun as he entered the Happy Food Mart at 164 Smithville Road.
The gunman pointed his weapon at a customer at the counter and then at the clerk who started opening the cash registers, according to surveillance video released by Warner Robins police on the department’s Facebook page.
The robber motions with the handgun and the store employee hands over a handful of cash and then gets money out of a second cash register, the video shows.

The gunman put the cash in his pants pocket and calmly leaves the store about 40 seconds after he entered.
The black male appeared to have something masking his face but also held the crook of his left arm over his face most of the time.
He was wearing what appeared to be a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and sneakers.
