South Macon restaurant robbed at gunpoint
A south Macon restaurant was robbed at gunpoint late Tuesday night.
Bibb County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the holdup at Shark’s Chicago Style Fish and Chicken at 4351 Pio Nono Avenue, just south of Interstate 75. No one was injured, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
Three male suspects entered the restaurant with handguns just after 10:30 p.m. They approached the counter and demanded money, but the amount stolen was not disclosed, according to the release.
The suspects fled on foot and were last seen running towards Dewey Street.
The suspects were described as black males wearing all black clothing and face masks. One of the suspects was wearing a camouflage jacket.
