Bibb deputies capture fugitive at Panera Bread in Macon
Bibb County sheriff's deputies caught a fugitive from Savannah in Macon on Sunday evening.
Randolph Dominique Frazier Jr. was captured about 6 p.m. while sitting at a table in the back of Panera Bread at 181 Tom Hill Sr. Blvd, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
Frazier has been wanted since Oct. 31 when he escaped police custody after a chase on that ended on Interstate 95 in Bryan County, WTOC reported at the time.
That chase stemmed from a residential burglary in McIntosh County, the television station reported. The chase ended in a crash, and Frazier, along with two other suspects, were taken to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah where Frazier escaped, according to WTOC.
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office captured Frazier based on a tip from the U.S. Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force. Frazier was taken to the Bibb County jail, and a hold was placed on him for the Savannah Metro Police Department, McIntosh County Sheriff's Office and Twiggs County Sheriff's Office, the release states.
