Dollar General armed robbery suspect arrested
An Americus man is in jail after the armed robbery of a Dollar General.
Reginald Jamal Fench was charged with armed robbery and two counts of aggravated assault after the discount store was robbed Nov. 21 in Perlis Plaza at 1408 East Forsyth St. in Americus, according to a Friday news release.
Less than a week after the robbery, Fench was identified as a suspect and warrants were issued.
