Man missing from assisted living facility for two days is found safe close by
A man missing from Roberta was found safe Wednesday afternoon.
Emanuel Smith reportedly walked away from Tall Pines Assisted Living early Monday morning.
The 55-year-old was identified Wednesday after he showed up at someone’s house on U.S. 80, about three miles from the facility.
Smith had minor scratches and was taken to a hospital to be checked out, according to a news release from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
Multiple law enforcement agencies fanned out across the county Tuesday in search of Smith.
