Rifleman, robber sought in early morning convenience store holdup
The GBI is seeking the public’s help identifying two men who held up a Lumber City convenience store.
About 2:20 a.m. Sept. 17, 2017, a man with a rifle entered the Flash Foods in Telfair County while wearing a camouflage hat, gray shirt and bluejeans, according to a release.
The other man was wearing a camouflage shirt, dark pants and white shirt over his face.
Both men were wearing gloves, according to a Facebook post from Telfair County Sheriff Chris Steverson.
The robbers drove off in a white, Chevrolet Malibu Maxx and headed south on Ga. 341 toward Jeff Davis County.
