A student was stabbed by a classmate just before noon at Ballard-Hudson Middle School on Tuesday.
A 14-year-old boy allegedly stabbed the 15-year-old boy in the back and chest with a knife on the eighth-grade hallway at the Anthony Road school, Bibb County schools spokeswoman Stephanie Hartley said in an email to The Telegraph.
The students were “immediately separated” and campus police and 911 were called, Hartley said.
The victim was alert and was taken to a hospital by ambulance. The 14-year-old was spotted in the back of a Bibb County schools police car just after the incident.
