Armed men rob convenience store Friday night
Two men with handguns robbed a Marathon convenience store at 4505 Broadway in Macon on Friday, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m., two men, described as wearing all black clothing and masks, came in the store with handguns and demanded an employee open the cash register, the release said.
After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the men left the store on foot.
The employee was not injured during the incident.
