Three juveniles, ages 12-13, were arrested for burglary after allegedly breaking into a Dollar General store.
Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a commercial burglar alarm just before midnight Thursday, and two males were in the parking lot of the Middle Georgia Rescue Mission shaking a rectangular object that turned out to be a cash register, according to a news release.
After a brief foot chase, the two suspects surrendered. A third male, who apparently was involved, was found near the store.
The video surveillance footage from the store was reviewed and all three suspects were seen in the video, the release said. The suspects took food and other items from the store after breaking the window of the business.
