Customer killed in stickup at Albany dollar store
A customer inside a Dollar General in Albany was shot and killed Friday during an armed robbery.
Police and Georgia State Patrol helicopters were searching for four people in a maroon or burgundy Ford Fusion late afternoon, according to the Albany Police Department.
The robbery occurred just after noon at the store on East Oglethorpe Street, WALB-TV reported.
