Armed robbery suspect caught on camera; do you know him?

A surveillance camera captured images of the suspect in the armed robbery of a Macon convenience store Wednesday morning, and authorities are hoping the public will help them catch the man himself.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office released the images Thursday, along with a clarification that a handgun, not a long gun as they previously reported, was used in the holdup of the Reliance Food Mart at 3609 Pio Nono Ave.

The gunman was described as a tall, slender black man who was wearing a blue jacket and dark pants.
