Masked man in soccer sandals robs Family Dollar store
A masked man in soccer sandals and white socks pulled a gun on a store clerk in a robbery late Tuesday in east Macon.
At about 10 p.m., a tall black man with a slender build and short hair demanded money from an employee at the Family Dollar at 3002 Shurling Drive, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The gunman, who was wearing dark clothes, took an undisclosed amount of money from a cash register and ran away.
