Woman shot dead outside Baldwin County store

A woman was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon at a convenience store just west of Milledgeville.

The 3 p.m. killing was caught on surveillance video outside of K & C Short Stop on Sparta Highway, Baldwin County sheriff’s Capt. Brad King told The Telegraph.

“Deputies arrived to find a white female had been shot in the parking lot,” King said. “It appears to be a very isolated incident.”

GBI crime scene technicians are helping with the investigation.
