Fans of the "whodunnit" are in for a real treat with the live action murder-mystery dinner theater "Murder at the Juice Joint." This is a rare chance to travel through time to see behind the scenes of foul play -- and perhaps be the hero of the night.

The Museum of Aviation Foundation and the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame invite guests to return Feb. 13-27 for their third year of dinner theater, to be served with a side of murder.

According to Jenny Maas, museum spokesperson for this production, shows have sold out for the past two years.

"We are really excited to bring 'Murder at the Juice Joint' to life with our guests," Maas said. "Tickets are already selling fast and we expect an entire night filled with mobster mayhem and Hollywood hopefuls."

Set in the midst of the Roaring '20s, the Juice Joint is a swanky speakeasy, run by Rosie Marie. In honor of its success, the Juice Joint is celebrating an exclusive party for its members, where guests will feel like part of the show. Pretty soon however, it becomes obvious that at least one person on the guest list is on another person's hit list. The guests have to take their chances dining with a murderer, but one of them might just figure out the culprit.

"We encourage you to have fun and dress your 1920s mobster best," Maas said. "There will be a best-dressed contest winner every night."

Taking place in Hangar One, guests are invited to arrive 45 minutes early to mix and mingle -- and do a little sleuthing.

"Extra hints and clues will be dropped," Maas said. "Plus, this is the time to check out everyone's costumes and really enjoy the ambiance of the whole event."

The event menu includes more than just murder, however, and guests can dine on Prohibition Pork Tenderloin, Putting on the Ritz Potatoes, Swinging Broccoli and Alley Cat Cheese Cake. Vegetarians take heart, and enjoy West End Eggplant Parmesan.

"Guests with special dietary needs should contact us before the show," Maas said. "A cash bar is also available. This is a speakeasy, after all!"

"The actors will treat you as if they know you," Maas said. "You'll rub elbows with major mobsters, swanky singers, cigarette girls, potentially murderous mayors, bootleggers of ill repute and directors who might risk everything for a big break. Don't count on the police chiefs either. Nothing is what it seems and all of the party guests have nothing to lose! Feel free to help our actors by contributing to the conversation and make sure that you listen closely to everything that they say. Clues are given out all night."

Tickets to the event are $35, but entrance to the museum is free. Proceeds from the event will help fund the Museum of Aviation, which is one of the largest aviation museums in the United States.
