Warner Robins Little Theater presents the dramatic comedy "The Lion in Winter," directed by James Goldman.

The play tells the story of the Plantagenet family members who are competing to inherit a kingdom. Although comedic in tone, the performance is dramatic as it portrays the queen, the wealthiest woman in the world, being kept in prison since raising an army against her husband, King Henry II. Being released for the holidays, the play centers on the many conflicts of the royal family, including a fight for the kingdom and a romantic relationship King Henry had during the Christmas of 1183.

As the character Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine says, "every family has its ups and downs, and this royal family is no exception!"

Remaining show dates are Nov. 11, 12, 13 and 14. Warner Robins Little Theater is located at 502 S. Pleasant Hill Road in Warner Robins. The theater opens its doors at 7 p.m. with curtain at 8 p.m. For reservations, call 478-929-4579 between the hours of 10 a.m.and 5 p.m. Ticket prices are $16 for general admission and $14 for active military (with ID), students (with ID) and seniors (60 or older).
