Kent: Public invited to Beth Moore simulcast at Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins

Central Baptist Church will be hosting the Beth Moore Simulcast, “Living Proof” as an opportunity for women to have a break and renew their lives.

The event is open to the public.

According to Shirley Jones, a member of Central Baptist and one of the organizers of the event at the church, Beth Moore Bible Studies are a mainstay of women’s Bible study at Central and across the country.

Jones has seen Moore speak in person at a Women of Faith conference in Atlanta as well.

“She is very excited about whatever she talks about,” Jones said of Moore. “She talks a lot about a women growing in her faith -- that you can do it all through total faith in Jesus. Through total faith in Jesus Christ, you can show your love for Jesus to your family, to your church, to your friends and to your community.”

This will be a time just to renew yourself, to calm down spiritually and to be peaceful. Women are so busy but they need to take the time to look inside themselves and find out what might make them a better Christian, a better minister to other women, to be able to open up and really show your love for Jesus,” Jones said. “Beth Moore really speaks to a woman’s heart. She is a minster to women.”

The simulcast will feature Moore’s new book “Audacious,” which also will be the theme of the event.

According to a news release about the event, Moore was looking back over her 30 years of ministry and came to the realization that her vision for women was incomplete. She identifies that missing link by Scripture, life experiences and spotlighting a turning point all in “Audacious.”

“Audacious” will be released officially Nov. 1, but will be available for purchase at the simulcast locations.

Central Baptist Church, which is located at 1120 Lake Joy Road in Warner Robins, is a host location for the Sept. 12 “Living Proof” live simulcast, which will be broadcast from Wichita, Kansas. Check-in on Sept. 12 is from 9:45-10:15 a.m. and the simulcast ends at 5:15 p.m. Ticket cost before Sept. 8 is $15. After that date, the ticket price is $20.
