The Warner Robins Police Department is offering a security workshop for leaders in places of worship to protect their congregations.

In a seminar with Training Force USA, faith-based communities will learn how to handle violence, natural disasters and other medical emergencies.

Instructors will explore legal, insurance and liability issues, according to a news release.

The class will be held from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. April 28 at the Southside Baptist Church in Warner Robins and requires a $55 entry fee per person.
