Warner Robins Police Auxiliary sets 'Blue Glow Run' for May
The Warner Robins Police Auxiliary, a group that supports the city's police officers, will celebrate Police Week 2016 with a "Blue Glow Run" on May 14 at McConnell-Talbert Stadium.
The first 300 people to register for the 5K or 10K runs will receive a glow-in-the-dark "Back the Blue" medal and a T-shirt, according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department.
The race will be timed by a chip timing system, and racer bags will include blue glow sticks, the release said.
The cost for an individual to register for the 5K race is $20 and $35 for the 10K race, plus a $2.95 fee, according to the registration website www.backtheblueglowrun.itsyourrace.com. Group registration rates also are available.
