Driver seriously injured in four-car crash in Warner Robins
A 52-year-old woman driving in Warner Robins was seriously injured in a crash on Moody Road at Creekside Drive about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.
The driver of an F-150 truck hydroplaned while traveling on Moody Road and crossed into oncoming traffic, according to an email from department spokeswoman Jennifer Parson. The southbound truck struck a Chevy Tahoe, then a 1995 Honda Accord and a Chevy Cobalt, which were all traveling northbound, Parson said.
The driver of the Honda, 52-year-old Phyllis Burns, was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health in Macon with serious injuries, according to the department’s daily bulletin. A hospital spokeswoman said Monday evening that Burns was in stable condition. The driver of the F-150 also was taken to the Medical Center for minor injuries, Parson said. The other two drivers were checked out at the scene and released.
The crash is being investigated.
