Arrest made in last month's armed robbery of Fort Valley convenience store
FORT VALLEY -- One of two suspects has been arrested in connection to the Jan. 13 armed robbery of the Flash Foods convenience store at 401 Blue Bird Blvd.
Larry Little Jr., 25, of Stone Mountain, is being held in the Peach County Law Enforcement Center on a charge of armed robbery, according to jail records.
His girlfriend, Latesha Michelle Munns, 23, was charged with obstruction for attempting to hinder his arrest, officials said. Little and Munns were arrested Tuesday at a State University Drive apartment, said Fort Valley police Capt. Jerrell Smith.
Detectives are still working to identify the second suspect. The men allegedly stole cash and cigarettes after displaying a handgun and demanding money during the robbery.
Little was identified as a suspect based on witness interviews and tips from the public after surveillance store photos were published through social media outlets and by various news agencies.
Anyone with any information about the armed robbery or the identity of the second suspect is asked to call the Fort Valley Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division at 478-825-3384 or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
