Warner Robins Mayor Randy Toms swore in a new Municipal Court judge Tuesday night.

Local attorney Monica Wilburn was sworn in at Tuesday night's city council meeting. She is one of three associate judges for the Municipal Court system. She is from California but has lived in Warner Robins for nearly a decade. She came here with her husband, who served in the Air Force, and they stayed after he retired.

Wilburn is president of the Houston County Bar Association.

"She is an outstanding lady and it is an honor to swear you in," Toms said before giving the oath.
