Public invited to vent at Regional Commission meetings in Perry, Macon

Anyone wanting to share concerns about community issues, land use, redevelopment and protection of natural resources is invited to two meetings of the Middle Georgia Regional Commission.

The commission will be updating the Middle Georgia Regional Plan and will hear from the public in Perry Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Perry Arts Center at 1121 Macon Road.

Another meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Feb. 2 in the Macon-Bibb County Government Center.

The Middle Georgia Regional Commission serves 20 cities in nearly a dozen counties: Baldwin, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Macon-Bibb, Monroe, Peach, Pulaski, Putnam, Twiggs and Wilkinson.
