Fort Valley police seeks public's help identifying suspects

Fort Valley police are looking for two men in connection with the Wednesday night armed robbery of a Flash Foods store.

A surveillance video shows the men entering the Blue Bird Boulevard store about 11:15 p.m., according to a news release from the Fort Valley Department of Public Safety. The men displayed a firearm and demanded money from the cash register before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes, according to the release.

"We have suspects in this incident and our detectives are following up leads and witness information now," Capt. Jerrell Smith stated in the release. Anyone with information about the identities of the men is urged to call the Fort Valley Police Department at 825-3383.
