Pizza Hut in Warner Robins robbed at gunpoint

A Pizza Hut at 1406 Watson Blvd. in Warner Robins was robbed late Thursday at gunpoint.

The incident happened about 10:50 p.m., about 10 minutes before closing, according to a Warner Robins police report.

Stolen was an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

Three people were in the restaurant, but it was not clear from the report whether they were employees, customers or a mix of both.

Efforts to reach Jennifer Parson, public information officer for Warner Robins police, were unsuccessful late Friday afternoon. Restaurant employees also declined to comment.
