Man attempts armed robbery at Warner Robins convenience store

WARNER ROBINS -- A masked man attempted to rob a Warner Robins convenience store early Tuesday, police said Thursday.

About 12:33 a.m., Warner Robins police were dispatched to the Citgo at 1660 Watson Blvd. about an armed robbery, Jennifer Parson, public information officer for the Warner Robins Police Department, said via email.

A black man dressed in a black hoodie, black pants and wearing a bandana over his face, attempted to rob the store clerk at gunpoint, Parson said. The suspect was armed with a handgun.

The man fled the store without taking any money, and no one was hurt, Parson said.

Anyone with information related to the armed robbery attempt is asked to call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
