WARNER ROBINS -- An off-duty Warner Robins police officer was arrested early Sunday in Savannah on charges of driving under the influence and failure to maintain his lane.

James Allen Dubry, 25, an investigator for the city's police force, was placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation, according to a Warner Robins Police Department news release.

"The city of Warner Robins and the Warner Robins police do not condone such actions, will not tolerate such, and is not reflective of the professionals employed at the department," the news release said.

Dubry was arrested at 1:43 a.m. by the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department. He is free on $3,500 bond on the misdemeanor charges.

Appropriate Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council notifications will be made, the release noted.

The state agency, which certifies police officers in Georgia, requires notification of an officer's arrest by the employing agency, the arresting agency and the officer arrested.
