Fatality victim identified in Bonaire collision
WARNER ROBINS -- A woman was killed and a man seriously injured in a head-on collision in Houston County.
Chelsie Little, 23, of Cochran, died in the accident that happened at about 6:55 p.m. Friday on Ga. 96 in Bonaire, according to a Houston County Sheriff's Office release. Coroner Danny Galpin said she was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was a passenger in a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Shaun Woody, 33, of Richland. Woody was taken to Medical Center, Navicent Health, in Macon with serious injuries.
They were traveling east and collided head-on with a 2016 Toyota Tundra that was traveling west and pulling a trailer. The driver of the truck, Juan Rodriquez, was not injured.
The accident happened at the intersection of Ammons Road.
Sheriff's Lt. Clay Chambers said the cause of the accident is under investigation and any charges will be determined once the investigation is completed.
