Warner Robins restaurant robbed at gunpoint over the weekend

WARNER ROBINS -- An American Deli at 1130 Watson Blvd. was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend, police said.

Police were dispatched to the armed robbery at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, said Warner Robins police Public Information Officer Jennifer Parson.

The suspect, armed with a handgun, took an undisclosed amount of money, Parson said through an email.

The suspect was described as a black male, average height, average build and wearing a gray hoodie, she said.

No one was injured.

Warner Robins police Detective Brett Rozier is investigating.
