Museum leader retiring, 21st Century Partnership officer taking his place
WARNER ROBINS -- Chrissy Miner, chief operating officer of the 21st Century Partnership, is stepping down to serve as president of the Museum of Aviation Foundation.
Miner is taking the place of Pat Bartness, who has worked for the museum 20 years. He is retiring at the end of this year, according to a news release from the museum.
The partnership already has started an effort to find Miner's successor.
"We will certainly miss Chrissy's unique blend of operational and artistic talents, and especially her daily dose of positive energy around the office," retired Lt. Gen Charles Stenner said in a news release. Miner, who formerly had been a spokeswoman for Robins Air Force Base, has been with the partnership since January 2013.
"I am deeply honored to have served my community in this role," she said. "I look forward to continuing my relationship with the partnership in a different role. I will always be a strong advocate for the important work done by the partnership on a day-to-day basis."
Bartness is former base commander at Robins Air Force Base. He said he is proud of the progress at the museum during his time there.
"It's been a great run here at the museum and in Middle Georgia," Bartness said.
