Man with knife attempts robbery at a Warner Robins’ Publix pharmacy

WARNER ROBINS -- A man with a knife attempted to rob an employee of the Publix at 6015 Watson Blvd., according to a Warner Robins police report released Wednesday.

Kayln Anderson, a 29-year-old pharmacy technician, was behind the pharmacy counter Oct. 6 when the man came up about 10:30 p.m.

The man put a note on the counter and showed her a small knife, Anderson told The Telegraph Wednesday. The man demanded through the note a bottle of Oxycodone, a prescription pain medication.

Anderson said she tried to pick up the note, and the man told her not to do that and not to say anything.

She stepped back toward the pharmacist, and the man then fled, she said.

“I really didn’t do anything,” Anderson said. “I didn’t scream or nothing. My legs felt like noodles. It was terrible.”

The suspect was described as white male, standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, and was also seen wearing sunglasses by another employee when he first came in the store, Anderson said.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact Warner Robins police at 478-302-5380.
