Police release video of suspect in Warner Robins slaying

WARNER ROBINS -- As part of their investigation into the slaying of a Warner Robins convenience store clerk earlier this month, police released a store surveillance video Monday.

The video shows a masked man dressed all in black pointing a firearm as he enters Lulu Food Mart, 1003 Elberta Road, and climbs over a store counter. Police already have released photographs of the suspect taken from the surveillance video.

Officers dispatched to the store about 10:20 Sept. 10 tried life-saving measures on 56-year-old Govinder Sinch Kaura until emergency medical workers arrived. Kaura was pronounced dead at the store.

Witnesses inside the store described the shooter as a light-skinned black man standing about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a slender build, police said.
