Perry police arrest two of three suspects in convenience store robbery

PERRY -- Two of three suspects in Thursday’s armed robbery of One Stop Food Mart at 504 Perry Parkway have been arrested.

Tomichaelwg Wachobia West, 24, and Darrell Dashane Johnson, 23, each were charged with armed robbery and participating in criminal gang activity, according to a Perry police news release.

Authorities have identified and are looking for the third suspect in the 3:20 a.m. robbery in which two store clerks were held at gunpoint, the release said. A customer also was in the store.

The suspects, who wore all black, stole an undisclosed amount of cash, lottery tickets and cigarettes. They then fled the store on foot.

Police caught up with West and Johnson later at a Perry apartment, the release said.
