Two teenagers arrested in string of crimes in Perry
PERRY -- Two teenagers have been charged in a string of crimes, including the July 23 armed robbery of the Circle 9 convenience store at 423 General Courtney Hodges Blvd.
Donnell Robert Stinson, 17, and Trevion Jamal Richardson, 17, both of Perry, were each charged with one count of armed robbery, six counts of burglary, two counts of attempted burglary and one count of theft by taking.
Also, charged was Willie Bernard Collier Jr., 21, of Byron, with one count of being a party to a burglary.
Stinson and Richardson were seen fleeing on bicycles from a residential burglary on Christine Circle on Monday and were arrested the following day in connection with that burglary, said Perry police Capt. Heath Dykes.
Collier also was arrested Tuesday and charged in connection with a residential burglary on Northside Drive in which he’s accused of helping Stinson and Richardson load up stolen goods, Dykes said.
The incidents took place between July 6 and Aug. 24, Dykes said.
