Pedestrian hit, killed by a car while crossing Moody Road in Warner Robins, police say

A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in Warner Robins Wednesday evening, according to a news release from the local police department.

Deputies said Thursday that Luis Manzano, 25, died around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was crossing Moody Road near Leisure Lake Drive and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the WRPD news release.

WRPD’s traffic division responded to investigate the incident. They determined that the driver was traveling north on Moody Drive before he struck Manzano, the news release said.

No charges have been filed at this time.
