FORT VALLEY -- A section of Main Street is scheduled to close temporarily overnight Sunday.
The closure along Main Street is from its intersection with Camellia Boulevard to its intersection with Lowe Street, said Larry Brown, Fort Valley’s public works director.
The closure is expected from 6 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday. Rain may delay the project.
The closure is for painting in parking spaces and striping modifications in preparation of that section of road switching from one-way traffic to two-way traffic, Brown said.
The target date for the switch is Aug. 31.
