Perry man sentenced to 15 years in prison for burglary

PERRY -- A 52-year-old Perry man was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years in prison for a 2012 residential burglary.

Isaac King was sentenced Tuesday in Houston County Superior Court by Judge Katherine K. Lumsden under Georgia’s recidivism law.

King had 11 prior felony convictions, including two burglaries, said Assistant District Attorney Eric Edwards.

King also was sentenced to five years probation in connection with the March 22, 2012 burglary in the 600 block of Howard St. in Perry.

He was sentenced after a jury found him guilty Tuesday of the burglary following a one-day trial.
