What to expect when 1st Middle GA Sprouts Farmers Market opens in Warner Robins
A Sprouts Farmers Market coming to the northwest corner of South Houston Lake Road and Russell Parkway in Warner Robins is expected to include space for additional development.
Headquartered in Phoenix, the national grocery chain is known for its fresh, natural and organic food.

Paving a way for the new Sprouts Farmers Market
Warner Robins mayor and council recently approved the annexation and rezoning of 12.65 acres of land at 901 South Houston Lake Road to pave the way for the Sprouts Farmers Market on what property records show has been the Ryals family property since 1937.
Plans call for the construction of the 23,273-square-foot organic grocery store with an additional 13,600-square-feet of inline retail space, according to the annexation and rezoning application.
The plan also calls for four outparcels — three along Russell Parkway and one on South Houston Lake Road.
Additionally, the development is expected to include 207 parking spaces, including 117 for the grocery store and 90 for other developments.
Scott Cole of Brentwood, Tennessee, based GBT Realty Corporation, stressed to mayor and council the need for an access point along South Houston Lake. GBT represents the property owner, the Annie C. Ryals Trust.
A city traffic study is expected.
The annexation and rezoning from residential to commercial was sought to gain city sewer and utility services for the property.
The project is in its early stages of development.
An email from Sprouts Farmers Market corporate indicated that the new grocery store is expected to open sometime in 2027.
