How to get free $10 Dollar General gift cards at new Warner Robins store
The first 50 adult guests at the grand opening of a new Dollar General in Warner Robins will receive a $10 gift card, with the store also handing out free Dollar General tote bags to the first 100 customers.
The grand opening at the new store at 1419 Feagin Mill Road is at 8 a.m. Saturday, according to a corporate news release. The store is now in its soft opening.
“At Dollar General, we believe the addition of our new Warner Robins store provides positive economic growth for the community through the creation of new jobs and career growth opportunities,” Matthew Simonsen, Dollar General’s senior vice president of real estate and store development, said in the release.
He also touted the store’s affordable products, its generation of tax revenue and the company’s literacy foundation grants.
“As part of our mission of serving others, we look forward to being a strong business partner and good neighbor, as well as welcoming customers to our new store,” he said.
Dollar General bills itself to offer competitive wages and benefits. The new store employs at least 10 people.
Schools, nonprofit organizations and libraries within a 15-mile radius of the store are eligible to apply for Dollar General Literacy Foundation grants. More than $275 million in grants have been awarded to nonprofit organizations since the program was started in 1993, according to the release.
Dollar General also has its own app.
The new store, which is just west of the intersection of Lake Joy and Feagin Mill roads, marks the ninth Dollar General now in operation in Warner Robins. The company has more than 20,500 stores in 48 states, according to its website.
The new store’s hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
