Built on a simple business model of coffeehouse quality and drive-thru convenience, a Scooter’s Coffee is under construction in Warner Robins.

The new build at 1881 Watson Blvd. is at the corner of Watson Boulevard and South Houston Road next to a McDonald’s restaurant.

The new franchise location is expected to open in early 2025, according to Brandon Bartling, senior manager of communications and public relations for Scooter’s Coffee.

The 664-square-foot drive-thru coffee shop will have an entrance and exit for vehicles off South Houston Road and an exit with a right turn only onto Watson Boulevard, according to site plans.

Scooter’s Coffee offers espresso-based beverages, cold brew, hot and iced coffees, Red Bull Infusions, fruit smoothies, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, omelet bites, cookies and cake bites, cinnamon rolls and more, according to its website.

The drive-thru coffee shop’s signature drink, the “Caramelicious,” is made with caramel sauce and espresso and topped with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle. The drink is served hot, iced or blended. The company’s mascot is “Carmen Caramelicious.”

For the holiday season and for a limited time, Scooter’s Coffee is offering themed drinks from the Candy Land game under license from toy and game company Hasbro.

Founded in 1998 by Don and Linda Eckles in Bellevue, Nebraska, Scooter’s Coffee started franchising in 2001.

Today, there are more than 840 Scooter’s Coffee locations in 31 states, including nine in Georgia — mostly in the Atlanta area and one in Middle Georgia. Only about two dozen Scooter’s Coffee locations nationwide are corporately owned, according to Bartling.

The first Scooter’s Coffee in Middle Georgia opened in Gray at 615 Landmark Pointe Blvd., Suite A, in December 2022. The Warner Robins franchise will be the second Middle Georgia location.
