Dutch Bros Coffee coming to Warner Robins. Two new restaurants possibly on same block
A Dutch Bros Coffee is coming to Warner Robins.
Bids are now being accepted for the ground-up construction of the 950-square-foot, drive-thru coffee shop at 2695 Watson Blvd. near the intersection of Watson Boulevard and Carl Vinson Parkway.
Construction is expected to start in January, with the drive-thru coffee shop also to include a walk-up window, according to site plans.
The popular and fast-growing drive-thru coffee chain is known for its handcrafted beverages that include specialty coffees, smoothies, teas, freezes, lemonade, Dutch Bros Rebel energy drinks and Nitro Cold Brew coffee.
Dutch Bros Coffee also offers chocolate chip, orange cranberry and lemon poppyseed muffin tops and a granola bar, according to the menu.
Dutch Bros was founded in 1992 by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma who started with a pushcart serving espresso along the railroad tracks in downtown Grants Pass, Oregon, where the company is headquartered.
Today, Dutch Bros has over 950 locations across 18 states, with its push into Georgia to include not only Warner Robins but also Lawrenceville and Johns Creek.
More coming
The future home of Dutch Bros Coffee in Warner Robins is on 1.9 acres of property that has been divided into three lots, with the coffee shop to be built along the side of the Circle K convenience store and gas station that houses a Domino’s.
On the opposite side of the future home of Dutch Bros Coffee on the same property, a new Valvoline Instant Oil Change also is expected to be built. Both have signed, according to Max Muenchen, leasing associate for Atlanta-based Sullivan Wickley.
The remaining 0.86 acres of the property is still available behind the future locations of Dutch Bros and Valvoline, he said.
Additionally, a Sullivan Wickley promotional brochure on the property includes two restaurants that are new to Middle Georgia as “pending” on adjacent properties. These properties are not being handled by Sullivan Wickley, said Muenchen, who declined additional comment.
The two restaurants are Smalls Sliders, known for its fresh made-to-order cheeseburger sliders with its signature “smauce” sauce, at 2691 Watson Blvd. next to the future home of Valvoline, and Guthrie’s, known for its chicken fingers, at 2689 Watson Blvd. Both would be new builds.
A representative for Guthrie’s and the property owner were not reached immediately for comment. A Smalls Sliders spokeswoman said she would reach out to the public relations firm representing the franchisee.
