Car crash leaves 1 dead after driver veers off road in Warner Robins, deputies say
A woman died after she drove off-road and crashed into a tree in Warner Robins Monday, according to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver of a 2017 Kia Sportage, Chloe Elizabeth Marie Huval, “left the roadway striking a tree” while heading east on Dunbar Road near General Lee Road around 5 p.m., according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
The 32-year-old was taken to Atrium Health Navicent Peach where she later died, deputies said.
The incident was still under investigation Tuesday. Deputies urged anyone with related information to call Deputy Garrett Painter with the sheriff’s office Traffic Division at 478-542-2080.
